Privacy Policy

Sensus Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware limited liability company, doing business as Sensus ("Sensus," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have when you use the Sensus platform (the "Platform").

Scope note. This Policy covers information about you as a user of the Platform. It does not cover information about the subjects that our systems analyze.

1 Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

Account information: name, email address, and username when you register.

Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.

Profile and preferences: optional information such as occupation, areas of interest, topic preferences, saved searches, and customized news feeds.

Marketing and subscription preferences: email preferences, newsletter subscriptions, and responses to promotional inquiries.

Queries and inputs: forecast queries, questions, and search terms you enter, along with the outputs generated in response.

b. Automatically collected information

Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, device identifiers).

IP address and approximate location derived from IP.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, and navigation paths.

Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 3).

c. Information from other sources

Information from service providers such as our payment processor and analytics providers, and from single sign-on providers if you use them to log in.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and maintain the Platform, including generating responses to your queries; personalize your experience and surface relevant content; process your registration and manage your free trial or subscription; communicate with you, including transactional emails, product updates, and support responses; analyze usage trends to improve performance and develop new features; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and other illegal or unauthorized activity; and comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.

AI processing

Queries you submit may be processed by third-party AI model providers, acting as our service providers to generate outputs. We do not use your identifiable queries to train our own or third-party models without your consent.

3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember preferences, and measure how the Platform is used: essential cookies required for the Platform to function (session management, authentication); analytics cookies (we use Mixpanel to understand how users interact with Sensus); and marketing pixels to measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. We honor opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law.

4 How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share your information as follows:

a. Service providers who help us operate the Platform

• cloud infrastructure and data hosting.
• AI model providers.
• payment processing, transactional and marketing email.
• product analytics and usage measurement.

b. Legal compliance

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sensus, our users, or the public, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

c. Business transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or in the use of your personal information.

d. Professional advisors

Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers, where necessary.

5 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know/access the personal information we hold about you and receive a portable copy; correct inaccurate personal information; delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and certain targeted advertising; and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, email info@sensus.market with the subject line "Privacy Request," or use your account settings. We will verify your request using your account email or other reasonable means. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization. If we decline a request, residents of certain states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas) may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the appeal process at that time.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Policy, or since the Platform launched, whichever period is shorter, we have collected, and we will continue to collect, the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP address); customer records (billing information); commercial information (subscription and transaction history); internet or other electronic network activity (usage data, cookies); approximate geolocation (from IP); audio/electronic information (support communications); and inferences (content preferences). We collect them from the sources, for the purposes, and with the recipients described in Sections 1–4. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as legally required. California residents may exercise the rights above, including through an authorized agent.

Marketing choices

Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message; transactional emails will continue.

6 International Users; EEA/UK

The Platform is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

7 Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements). When you close your account or request deletion at info@sensus.market, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information, which is no longer personal information, indefinitely.

8 Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9 Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such data, contact info@sensus.market.

10 Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may reference or link to third-party platforms, prediction markets, data providers, or other external services. This Policy does not apply to those third parties; review their privacy policies before using them.

11 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you before they take effect by email to the address associated with your account or by prominent in-product notice, and we will update the effective date above. Your continued use after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance.
